This is the best wine and cheese bar we’ve been too! It is such a lovely, relaxing atmosphere! The owners are so welcoming and friendly! The food is incredible- the cheese fondue was amazing- we’ve just been skiing in the alps and the fondue here was so much better!! They helped us pick red wines to our taste and we loved them, a very personalised, friendly experience! We will be back for sure! P.s Frank the dog is adorable.

If I could give more stars, I would! My husband surprised me with a birthday gathering of 8 people here a few nights ago. The staff were so incredibly friendly and attentive and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and all the little extras on the cheese boards made it even more enjoyable. I have been to similar local chain cheese and wine bars and think the value for money was so much better at The Cellar. The cocktails were delicious too!!! Can't wait to come back again.

Delightful restaurant, very understated. My partner and I visited here over the New Year period and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, especially to our slightly nervous puppy. They recommended some great cheeses and wines, we look forward to returning!

Having been given a gift voucher for my birthday here, we had a most delightful lunch here in December 2023. The atmosphere and decor in The Cellar is very nice and the staff attentive and very welcoming. The shared platter we chose was with a selection of four cheeses and four meats of our choice was superb and accompanied by fruits, salad, olives etc. It was large and beautifully present and plenty for two . The wine too was very good. All in all and great experience in this gem in Ringwood

Came here a couple of weeks ago and was so impressed! Our server had a fantastic knowledge of the menu and was able to take into account our taste when suggesting new cheese to try. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and how delightfully welcoming the place was. For us it was the kindness of the staff that really made our night. We cannot wait to come back.

Hmmm....6 off us came in later on in the evening, looking for a post meal plate of cheese and port. We ordered 'some cheese for 6 please'....Granted we didnt ask the price, but we got delivered 3 massive platters of cheese. All very nice, but at £40 each (so £120), it was basically as much as we'd just spent on the fantastic meal we'd just had at the Railway. So the message is: Check the prices. We didn't and to a degree we feel like we were hoodwinked......

Beautiful bar/restaurant, perfect for a cosy date or a good time with friends & family. An amazing selection of cheeses & meats served with passion & plenty of accompaniments. Can't wait to visit again.

Great idea. Imagine a Tapas bar but based around cheese and wine. But they also do a selection of cured and dried meats with a specials board containing local pork pies. All that and a good selection of wines. Two of us had the sharing platter that had about 50/50 cheese & meats. Sides of bread and crackers, olives, humus and caramelized onion chutney. All lovely. Excellent hosting, nice balance between attentive and leaving you alone to enjoy your evening. Well worth a visit.
