Unfortunately didn’t get as far as having a survey. Communication was so poor I cancelled before I’d handed over any money. It’s a shame I got an immediate response after cancelling.

I've spent thousands of pounds on surveyors, and I was disappointed to learn recently from my lawyer that the survey Dan produced was insufficient for court. I raised my concerns with NowSurvery, but they were unable to respond to my complaint. Instead of Nowsurvey, I recommend looking for a more dependable and better company to work with.

We used Now Survey back in January for their services while purchasing our first home. They were reasonably priced, and took in to account a few queries we had with future renovation to the property. I would recommend them in the future.

They were referred to me by imyhome. They never showed up on the appointment due to "traffic" which they only found out 10 - 20 mins before the appointment. When discussed rearranging options they offered me an appointment weeks later as they don't help prioritise the cancelled appointments. And they accepted no blame on them but on the traffic instead as if you can't leave earlier. Don't bother if you want a valuation quickly

Had Dan come out to survey work done by a plumber when there was a dispute. He wrote a independent report. The whole thing ended up in court and the report was used and ultimately won me the case. First class from start to finish. I even lost the initial report the posted to me and more than a year down the line, they were able to find and quite quickly send it to me with no complaints whatsoever. Will recommend and I'll use again in the future.

We used the Local Surveyors Direct website to get some quotes on a RICS Home Buyer survey for a property we are purchasing. NOW Survey weren't on the Local Surveyors Direct website, but one of the other Surveyors who were on there recommended NOW Survey as a local company for us, who were a bit closer than they were themselves. Not only were NOW Survey cheaper than their competitors from the Local Surveyors Direct website, but they got a survey booked in with the seller the next day (they understood that we wanted to get the survey done and out of the way quickly), and we got the report back at the beginning of the following week - very prompt service. The report was detailed and in line with all the RICS standards. Jan who was our contact in the office was very approachable and easy to get hold of, her emails were covered superbly one day when she was out of the office too. If you are looking for a Home Buyer survey to be carried out around the Southampton area then I recommend these guys wholeheartedly.

laura Wilkinson is the rudest surveyor I’ve ever met, not even a hello, thank you, or good bye, just lots grumpy groans and short passive aggressive answers. she needs a new job or to get paid more to cheer up, saying that being polite shouldn’t cost anything!!!!!
