My Dad and I had a lovely Sunday Roast last week, ( 1 rare beef, 1 turkey) we booked easily on line, I requested a warm spot and we were seated perfectly by a radiator. We had a lovely welcome, prompt service, attentive checks, and delicious food. It was our first visit but we definitely go back.

We had our clubs Xmas meal at the Fish in Ringwood. What can I say, the food was wonderful and well presented, the staff very friendly and there was a good atmosphere. The service was great and friendly - despite the pub being fairly busy at the time with other groups. We were made very welcome and had a wonderful evening - a big thank you to Jude and Simon and the team. I would highly recommend this friendly pub to anyone - great food and selection of beers (both alcoholic and non alchoholic) and wines.

Five of us went for the Festive menu. The booking process online was simple. The décor and atmosphere of the Pub was friendly and welcoming. The staff were exceptional with their attitude and friendly service and the food was excellent. We will definitely re-visit and recommend to others.

Four of us enjoyed Sunday dinner at the Fish Inn which we all enjoyed. The roast pork came with stuffing and crackling and all roasts included Yorkshire pudding plus roast potatoes and a few vegetables. More veg like cauliflower cheese were provided at extra cost. Other roasts included chicken or beef or all three meats for a slightly higher price. We did find the beef a little tough and had to request a steak knife.....although the flavour was good. Staff made sure that they checked whether you had any food allergies. Service was good and staff friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was welcoming and tables not all crammed together. There is a large carpark, but it does get full at times....some space is available on road outside pub. We would certainly recommend the Fish Inn for Sunday lunch and return again.

Incredible lovely pub with gorgeous food, even better staff and on a Friday surprisingly they had a singer which was unexpected. If you want lovely traditional pub food in a warm cosy pub which is reasonably priced then you won’t go wrong here

We visited the fish inn today for the first time. Service was very friendly and helpful. The food was most enjoyable two if our party had fish and chips, the fish was beautifully cooked and very tasty, mum took her chips home in a box and was thrilled to do I so! I had the burger which was excellent, cooked to perfection and again very tasty. Desserts were also enjoyed, delicious ice cream and the crumble was crunchy and flavoursome. We felt well cared for and very full after. Thank you ladies for helping my mum’s early birthday lunch go so smoothly. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Well kept beer in a cosy environment. They only had two house (Butcombe) ales on when I was there but they had pumps for 5 or 6 so presumably they have guest beers on as well sometimes. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food wasn't bad either - my chicken parmigiana was ok but my partner's pie of the day (steak and ale) was absolutely excellent. The lemon posset didn't look like much but was delicious - zingy and fresh. Nice that the pub garden is by the river but the incessant noise from the A31 kinda spoils the experience of being outside. Thankfully the windows are well sealed and the noise doesn't permeate indoors.

I have been to The Fish a few times in the past month and have found each visit to be really nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Admittedly, it is tricky to get to, but once you can navigate through Ringwood town centre and over the one lane bridge, you are on your own island with the Fish. Most people would drive past it along the A31, but they are missing out. There is also plenty of parking. Friday night they had a live singer, who was playing classic rock songs, they also have a quiz night once a month on a Tuesday which is really fun with some nice prizes. The food is really nice and they have a special menu too which mixes things up a bit. The garden is big with plenty of seating, dogs are welcome too. If you are looking for a night out with a great atmosphere, then I would recommend coming to the Fish.
